Anyone know of inexpensive hotels or extended stays in St. Petersburg or Tampa Fl?

Hi, I live in Las Vegas, NV and am relocating to St. Petersburg / Tampa area the first week in June. I was seeking the expertise of locals there who might know of cheap extended stay hotels or lodging, suites etc. I have been paying $170 per week here in a hotel with tv, refrig. microwave, free cable and internet.... looking for something like that in St. Pete or Tampa area. Any suggestions are welcomed ... thank you!
